Description
She wants to see him get wild and he thinks she needs Jesus. When AJ Adams is coerced into tutoring Brock Larson, she can’t help but wonder what she’s done to deserve such an epic punishment. He’s the very definition of an All-American good boy—and a total kiss ass. He’s the perfect son, the perfect student, and according to rumor, by far the best golfer the university has ever seen. Puh-lease. If he’s so perfect, why does he need tutoring?
With his British Literature grade circling the drain, Brock knows he needs help. But when he meets his tutor, he can’t believe his friggin’ luck. Abby Jane no longer resembles the childhood best friend he used to play hide and seek with. No, she’s all attitude and pink hair and tattoos. Oh, and she hates him, so that’s a plus.
Brock and AJ couldn’t clash more and antagonizing one another is just too easy. But, as they spend more time together, the lines begin to blur, leading them to realize they have more in common than what meets the eye.
Hate. Lust. Love. They all look the same when you’re in denial, and everyone knows you can’t control your rebel heart.
Review
I really loved this book. I loved everything about AJ. I loved how she rebelled against her parents and became who she wanted to be. Growing up with ¨old money¨ as she described came with a lot of expectations. AJ didn´t care and was true to herself. I really loved the confidence AJ had. Now Brock on the other hand was in the same situation but did everything he could to please his parents. But as you come to find out its actually the opposite of what he wants in life. Luckily fate would have AJ become his tutor and from that moment on his life changed. He knew she had all the expectations but she didn´t care. Of course, at first they hate each other because not only do they both come from money, but they were childhood best friends. Brock was a typical guy as soon as he reached puberty, he left her in the dust for the ¨developed¨ females. I really enjoyed everything about this book. I loved her best friend Stacia and Brock´s cousin. I think AJ and Brock had off the charts chemistry and I really love when that happens. I also thought there were a lot of really funny parts. The ending was a real twist. I mean you could see some of it coming but not in the way I would have imagined. I love the idea of the ¨rebel girl¨ falling for the ¨pretty boy¨. Also I laughed at when she has to tutor a ¨jock¨ but he plays golf. I know golf is a sport but just to hear the term jock used for a golfer is hilarious. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes a fun romance read!
